The PEMFC-Kit can be disassembled and reassembled in a manner that is perfect for students and teachers looking for a "hands on" experience with the energy technology of the future. The PEMFC-Kit is capable of performing experiments such as current-voltage characteristics, efficiency calculations, power curves, and demonstrating Faraday?s Law. Other experiments include the ability to demonstrate the performance of a fuel cell with different reactant gases,oxygen or air and hydrogen sources. Possible sources of hydrogen for the PEMFC-Kit include electrolyzers (PEM- and alkaline technologies), gas bottles, metal hydride tanks and hydrogen from chemical reactions.
